University of Tartu career days starting today and first-ever Inspiration Day to be held

Today, on 19 February, the traineeship and job fair of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is held in the Philosophicum, and the Maarjavälja career day for students of medicine and science and technology takes place in the Physicum.

Tomorrow, on 20 February, the most important event of the week, the Inspiration Day 2020 takes place in the University of Tartu Library. There students can participate in free lectures and workshops offered by alumni of the University of Tartu, who have become prominent professionals in their field. In addition, various organisations attend the event, sharing information about scholarships, study abroad opportunities, ergonomics for learning, and other topics that support studies. The Inspiration Day is organised by a student team.

On Friday, 21 February, the Delta Career Day is held in the University of Tartu Sports Hall near the Delta Centre. This is the joint career day for the Institute of Computer Science, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, and the School of Economics and Business Administration.

The traineeship and career days of the spring semester 2020 will end on 13 March with the employers’ fair of the Institute of Social Studies.
